Great great article on why republicans made a mistake opposing the commission. What SHOULD republicans be doing right now? Launching their own January 6 investigation to see exactly how congress and the Vice President were BARELY protected on January 6, and who was involved in the decisions that led to that debacle. Republicans cannot complain, now, about partisan investigations by Democrats because (A) they opposed the bipartisan one for no good reason at all; and (B) they are not doing their own. Even calling the criminal investigations witch hunts makes NO sense when you refuse to investigate yourself in any meaningful way. #silly#irresponsible.
